In addition to her other bodies of work, the five pieces by Gerrish presented at the art fair delve into the theme of metamorphosis, navigating the transformative odyssey through a blend of personal narratives and visual storytelling. From "Meet Me Halfway” which captures the intersection of natural and urban landscapes, to "The Weight of It All" embodying the imperative release of burdens, each artwork unravels the intricacies of change and adaptation. "Moving On" contemplates the inevitability of change and departure, while the inaugural appearance of the iconic shape in "Building With Dreams" symbolizes personal identity and growth. Collectively, these pieces offer a poignant exploration of the interwoven nature of journeys and the inherent beauty in the process of transformation.
